Flavio grew up in Rome, Italy where he fell in love with pizza at a young age. He spent hours watching the pizzaiolos toss dough and top pizzas with fresh ingredients at the pizzerias near his home. As soon as he was old enough, Flavio began an apprenticeship at one of his family pizzerias, learning all the secrets to making authentic Roman-style pizza.
Flavio decided to to discover new pizza techniques and flavors, he collected pizza’s knowledge from the best masters.
Finally, Flavio decided to settle down in the town of Leicester, to open his own pizzeria called “Oh My Pizza.”
Leicester lacked quality independent pizza joints, so Flavio saw it as the perfect place to introduce people to genuine Italian pizza.
It took some time for the people of Leicester to discover Oh My Pizza, but soon enough, Flavio had lines out the door every night. His thin-crust pizzas with creative flavor combinations became legendary in Leicester. Flavio felt proud to expose so many first-time patrons to the magic of real Italian pizza.
